These terms supplement the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”), which governs your license to Video Compressor. If these terms conflict with the Standard EULA about the app license, the Standard EULA controls. By using the app, you agree to both.
The service
Video Compressor scans videos you authorize, estimates potential savings, compresses selected videos, and saves results to your Photo Library. Estimates are not guarantees: actual size and visual quality depend on the source, selected preset, device, codecs, and Apple frameworks.
Free use and Pro
The app includes a cumulative free compression allowance of 1 GB of source video. Optional Video Compressor Pro plans provide unlimited compression during an active subscription and may include weekly and yearly options. Availability, trial eligibility, localized pricing, taxes, and exact billing periods are shown by Apple before purchase and may vary by country.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges your Apple Account and manages renewal, cancellation, payment issues, and refunds. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings under your Apple Account. Use Restore Purchases in the app to recover an eligible entitlement. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Your media and choices
You retain ownership of your media. You are responsible for having permission to process it, keeping appropriate backups, checking compressed output, and deciding whether to keep or delete an original. Deletion requires your action and Apple’s confirmation, but data loss can still occur. Check Photos and iCloud status before removing important media.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app unlawfully, interfere with its operation, bypass purchase or usage controls, reverse engineer it except where law permits, or process content in a way that violates others’ rights. We may limit access where reasonably necessary to protect the app, users, or legal compliance.
Availability and changes
Features can depend on iOS, hardware, free storage, network access, iCloud, Apple services, and third-party providers. We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will provide notice where law requires it and will not remove rights you have already acquired under mandatory consumer law.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. SwiftLee B.V. is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, failed backups, or user-confirmed media deletion. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights or liability for intent or gross negligence where applicable.
Governing law
These supplemental terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections or courts available to you under the law of your habitual residence.
